Ainon Launches the Alpha Course

What is Alpha?

We're excited to announce the launch of The Alpha Course here at Ainon Baptist Church! Alpha is a series of relaxed, honest conversations exploring the big questions of life, faith, and meaning. Whether you've never set foot in a church before, you're curious about Christianity, or you've been walking with God for years and want a refresher, Alpha is for everyone.

How It Works

Each session follows a simple, welcoming format:

• 6:00pm – Gather at Ainon Baptist Church for a short video that introduces the topic of the evening
• 6:30pm – Head over to the Lewis Arms for food, drinks, and open discussion in small groups

There's no pressure, no obligation, and no such thing as a silly question. It's simply a space to chat, share, and explore together over good food and good company.

Who Can Come?

Everyone is welcome — church members, friends, neighbours, colleagues, or anyone who's ever wondered about life's biggest questions. Feel free to bring a friend along; the more the merrier!
